Does your child lack confidence at school? Are you worried that they are not achieving their full potential? Are you looking for extra help and practice for particular exams?
At Perfect Plus Tutoring we offer tutoring programs based on your child's specific needs to help your child build confidence, or achieve their full potential.
Programs normally start with an assessment to gauge your child's strengths and weaknesses after which a program can be discussed with you according to their needs based upon the assessment.
Why get a Personal Tutor?
For a deeper insight into this question please see my blog article. However, here are some simple reasons why tutors can be beneficial:
Tailoring. They can tailor the program specifically to your child's individual needs which is not possible in a classroom. Furthermore, they can support the learning in ways which are most suitable for you child.
Flexibility. Tutors can be flexible on content for example they can go through the areas that you personally request or feel you need work on.
Time. One to One time mean a lot more can be covered in the time slot than in a classroom. This also allows more time for individual feedback and dialogue on how to improve work.
Support. Tutors can offer support in other areas e.g. writing CVs and personal statements. They can be contacted outside of lesson times for queries. They often are able to give extra sessions around exam periods. They build support and confidence in discussing the subject.

I use a variety of resources to help with tutoring your child. This includes a bank of my own materials, questions and worksheets. However, I also use resources from various teaching websites (many of which are also used by schools); past papers; practice papers and questions; sample materials from exam boards; and course textbooks.
11+, KS1, 2 and 3 - £30 an hour
GCSE - £30 an hour
A Level - £35 an hour
Please note that prices may increase for students that live more than 10 miles from my address.
I ask that all lessons are cancelled 48 hours in advance to the lesson. This will result in no charge. Lessons cancelled between 24 and 48 hours previous to the lesson will incur a charge at 50% of the lesson cost. Lessons will still need to be paid in full for lessons cancelled with less than 24 hour notice.
