Information for Clients and Students

 

Payment

Payment can be made by monthly bank transfer. Reminder of payments and amounts owing are sent out at the end of each month along with an emailed invoice.

 

Please note if payment is not made within two weeks of the end of the months further lessons will be stopped until payment is made.

 

Bank details are provided in your welcome email and on each invoice.

 

Cancellations

We ask that all lessons are cancelled 48 hours in advance to the lesson. This will result in no charge, subject to the restriction below. Lessons cancelled between 24 and 48 hours previous to the lesson will incur a charge at 50% of the lesson cost. Lessons will still need to be paid in full if cancelled with less than 24 hour notice. Notice should be provided in writing by text, Whatsapp message or email to your tutor directly. 

 

Term Time cancellations

Please note that we allow advance cancellation of  up to two sessions per term at no cost (during school term time, Autumn, Winter, Summer). If more than two sessions are cancelled in any one term (two half terms) then any cancellations beyond the first two will be charged at 50% if more that 24 hours notice was provided. Sessions will be charged in full if less than 24 hours notice is provided. The purpose of this clause is to encourage consistency and regularity in tuition and to prevent valuable tuition slots being blocked up. 

 

Holidays

We usually offer tuition over the school holidays, this is subject to your tutor's availability and should be discussed separately. There is no obligation to have sessions during holidays, however if these are booked then the usual cancellation policy will apply. 

 

Rearranging Sessions

In some cases, a session time can be rearranged and the tutor may agree to change the time if this is convenient to both parties, providing enough notice is given. This is at the discretion of the tutor. 

 

Tutors will make every effort to stick to arranged times. If a tutor has to rearrange a session, they will give as much notice as possible. If a session has to be cancelled by the tutor, there will be no charge. If a tutor cancels two or more sessions, please let Nicole know so that any problems can be resolved.
